Captain James and Susannah (Tate) Cunningham settled in Comanche County in 1845. They had 12 children who all lived to adulthood and had their own large extended families. Mission Statement
The purpose of the Cunningham Heirs Association is to serve as a private association to collect donations from the member heirs to
- Educate the member descendants about the family history,
- Fund the annual Cunningham Reunion and honor the founding ancestors,
- Foster fellowship between Cunningham cousins, and
- Maintain the grounds and add improvements as necessary.
Donations will be 100% used for this purpose as has been done – informally – for the last 127 years.
